Camera Ready Preparation

Paper Formatting

All papers must be in the IEEE proceedings two-column format for US LETTER size (8.5″ x 11″). You can find the templates provided by IEEE by following this link (http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html ). Do NOT include page numbers in your paper and do NOT include copyright header/footer information.

Copyright clearance

Before you prepare your final pdf document, it is required that all papers submitted to IEEE publications include a copyright clearance code at the bottom of the first page of each paper. The correct notice to use depends on the country of residence of the authors, and is as follows:

  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright

  • For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 979-8-3503-7608-1/24/$31.00 ©2024 Crown

  • For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 979-8-3503-7608-1/24/$31.00©2024 European Union

  • For all other papers the copyright notice is: 979-8-3503-7608-1/24/$31.00 ©2024 IEEE

For LaTeX users, note that the \IEEEpubid tag is deactivated by default in the IEEE-conf.tex file when it is of type conference. This can be overwritten to allow you to add the copyright clearance code by adding the following commands just after the \begin{document} line:

\IEEEoverridecommandlockouts
\IEEEpubid{\makebox[\columnwidth]{ 979-8-3503-7608-1/24\$31.00 \copyright2024 IEEE \hfill} \hspace{\columnsep}\makebox[\columnwidth]{ }}

The example above is for the fourth category of papers above, i.e. all other papers, which applies to most authors. If you experience problems with the above LaTex instructions when using bibtex, and if you are using \usepackage{fixltx2e}, then please remove the \usepackage{fixltx2e}.

Paper Length: up to 4 pages (references and well marked appendices do not count towards the page limit).

Please name your paper as per the following convention.

Paper#_lastnameoffirstauthor.pdf

For example, if your paper number is 27 and the last name of your first author is Andrews, the paper should be named 27_Andrews.pdf.

The deadline for camera ready upload is May. 26, 2024.

PDF Check and Upload

Papers must be both checked for pdf compatibility and uploaded via the new IEEE PDF eXpress tools accessible here (https://ieee-pdf-express.org). The PDF eXpress site can be accessed through the following link

Go to IEEE PDF eXpress

and use 62341X as conference id. You may need to create a new account to successfully log in. Once the paper has been checked/converted (you will be notified by an email), please click on the “Approve” link
Be careful: without clicking the “Approve” link, the Publication Chair will not receive your PDF file.

If you are having problems using PDF Express, please contact the Publication Chair

Copyright Form

Each author will receive an email with a link to the online Copyright Form wizard, as well as a unique login name and password to access their own copyright forms. When an author completes the online copyright transfer process and submits the form, he/she will receive an automated confirmation email letting him/her know that the transfer has been completed successfully.
